Well, it’s weigh-in time again! How have you done with your health-related goals this week? I was able to check in on you all last week, and am thrilled to have you all along on this journey with me! I hope you are doing well, and may God bless your diligence, faithfulness, and obedience to Him in taking control of your health this year! Our 40 day fast is over, but the health goals for the year remain, so let’s get started!
This week, I’m thrilled to report that I’m down further than I have been all this year! The scale read 209.0 on Monday – that’s right, point-ZERO! That’s recorded as a 2.6 pound loss from the previous week, but if you’ll remember, I had gained back a pound and a half. Now I’m just about sure that was due to my cycle, and I’m happy to only gain a pound and a half when I’m used to gaining five pounds that week. Praise the good Lord!
So, that’s a total loss for me this year of 7.4 pounds. Definitely behind where I’d like to be, but certainly not a bad loss for 7 weeks as that averages to about a pound a week. I hear that’s a healthy rate for loss. (Heh.) My mother brought me by a couple of ACE pills, and I’m going to get some samples from my sponsor so I can go ahead and get a start on taking it for my next round. My body simply seems to be comfortable at this 210 neighborhood (did I say that last week?), and I need a little bit of a boost to convince it to drop lower.
Also, I’m adding in a goal to drink at least 2 bottles of water a day!
What about you? Do you have any new goals or methods this week? Does your body have a weight plateau that you haven’t been able to punch through? How close are you to that and how do you plan to get past it?
