Okay, I haven’t been doing so great on this blogging thing.
I don’t know, I just forget some days! And others, I sometimes feel frustrated about WHAT to post. Which is silly.
So, I’m going to attempt (please don’t hold me to it!!) to blog every day for a while. I’m going to sit down after dinner, after hubby has gone to work and the dishes have been done, and just tell about the day. Chances are that I’ll find something in there to chase rabbits about, and if not, at least there’s an account of my day.
Besides, I’m hoping that when I get better into the habit of blogging that I can send some of my family – like MY grandparents especially, who don’t usually do much on the internet – to this blog so they can use it sort of as our family’s newsletter. Because the Lord knows I won’t be putting out a print newsletter for them any time soon. HA!
So what’s going on today?
The kids are watching Netflix movies. Indian in the Cupboard now, and they watched Batteries Not Included earlier. I’m hoping the Indian in the Cupboard movie will be a good springboard to get them interested enough to read the book. The latter was just one I remembered watching and enjoying as a kid (and is rated PG which makes me more comfortable with the fact that I don’t remember it well), and thought the kids might enjoy around this time of year. I’m sure I added it to the queue about 2 years ago, before we lost internet in Kyle.
Bill had to be at work at 6pm tonight instead of 8pm like usual. He’ll work a 12 hour shift, and then be off tomorrow so he will work Saturday morning. He was also off Monday night, so is hoping to still get in at least 40 hours. All we need to pay out of this check is the phone/internet bill, so it’s not urgent, but with the holidays approaching every little bit helps!
I see a couple more friends over on the right hand column there. 🙂 Thanks for joining me! I’m working also on figuring out the best method to go read blogs I’ve marked to follow. I enjoy reading and commenting, but forget to do it even if and when I do have the chance. Maybe I can get some of that in tonight! See you soon!
