Do you still need stocking stuffer ideas, or filler gifts for preschoolers? Need something to stick out the top of your stocking? Have you ever heard of the Pajanimals?

I’ve reviewed this series previously at the ParentPalace last year, and my kids have continuously watched this show ever since then! Squacky, Sweet Pea Sue, Apollo, and Cowbella are back in a great new video called Pajanimals Pajama Party. This features a fun birthday party theme with our musical puppet friends. Birthdays are for celebrating, a time to be happy, a time to be kind and have fun. Why are birthdays important?

PBS Kids Sprout is a favorite here, because I feel like my kids are safe watching these shows. We don’t subscribe to television, but we love the dvd’s available and Pajanimals are some of our favorites. From this show, my kids have learned to help clean up, brush their teeth, and even playing nice together is a theme this show promotes. We’re so excited to have another Sprout Pajanimals DVD to add to our collection! The twins will have some Pajanimals products as stocking stuffers this year, and I know they’ll be thrilled to receive them!

One of the episodes on this DVD includes the Pajanimals trying to decide a gift for Mom. What does Mom like? The friends go through several ideas, realizing that they are thinking about things they like for themselves and not really something Mom would enjoy. What would Mom enjoy? Well… Mom really likes it when they clean their room without being asked! (Um, yep! Yes, indeed, this mom would love that!) It’s great to think about this time of year as we are gift-giving and thinking of stockings and presents.

Squacky and the Gift of Christmas is a fun board book that my kiddos are loving! It’s got reusable stickers and a great Christmas theme. It’s not Christian specific, but it’s wholesome learning. There’s a kindle ebook edition, but – trust me on this – you want the reusable stickers!!

The videos do have a slight magical theme, if that is of importance to you. It’s like the “imagination magic” we’re familiar with from the big purple dinosaur, and doesn’t really have any explanation or references to anything questionable from a Christian standpoint. My kids love the music and I love that they’ll sit and watch this, even repeatedly, because the Jim Henson Muppets are always worth watching! Pick up a Pajanimals DVD to wrap or stuff the stocking of a preschooler near and dear to you this year. They’ll love it!
