Well, it’s time to check in with my weight loss update for March!
I’m still losing, but haven’t lost as much. In fact, I gained a little bit back! At the end of last month, I was 208.4 and at one point this month I was 206.6 – but I forgot to weigh on Friday morning this week. Saturday the scale said 215 and Sunday it said 210. Do you think I lost 5 pounds in one day like that? Yeah, I don’t either. Today it says 209 so my total weight loss from my starting point of 214.2 is now 5.2 pounds. I’d lost 7.6 pounds since the first of the year but then I gained a little back. Basically, I’m about where I was at the end of January again, having not lost any weight in February (and actually gaining a half pound back). Since I wasn’t doing anything at all to lose, I’m not surprised, and I’m looking forward to my numbers for March and April!

I’m not terribly surprised by these results, since we stopped doing the no sugar thing this month, and since we got tax return and have eaten out several times as well. My plan for the coming month is that we’ll be on vacation to see family and take the kids to the beach during spring break, and after that I’m going to start a grapefruit diet to kick-start my metabolism. After that I’ll probably start with using some essential oils, but first I want to do some with the diet because it’s worked well for me in the past.
