Still trying to find that perfect gift for the one who has everything? Considering cash or a gift card, but thinking it’s kind of impersonal? CARD.com has your answer! I received a card for the purpose of review; I was not required to post a favorable review and all opinions are my own.

CARD.com is a gift card site that allows you to pick from a wide variety of cute cards and send money to your friends and family with a more personalized flair – no credit check required! You’re probably familiar with store gift cards that are only usable in that specific store. You might also be aware that there are a wide variety of VISA or other credit symbols available on gift cards so that they can be spent anywhere. In fact, some of the large retailers have these cards available.

But, you’re limited to the pictures (if any) they offer. And usually these cards don’t have the recipient’s name on them, unless they decide to call and have them change it and receive an additional card later. But with the CARD.com site you can put their name right on the card and then they – or you – can reload right on the site. All for about the same cost as the big retailers.

Right now, there are all sorts of Star Trek cards available on the site, for the Trekkie on your list, and they are adding more designs all the time! Pick a team, pick a name, pick a social platform to make a stand. I was disappointed with their lack of faith themes, but there are quite a few popular interests available including television shows and all kinds of causes.

I picked a unicorn card. It arrived within just a few days, all pretty with my name on it. I’d thought I might load an extra $5 to it for a specific item I wanted online, but we didn’t make it that long before we needed some gas. I pulled out this card and used it at the local gas station pump. I had no issues whatsoever using it. I did look up to see what we would need to do to reload it, and it’s very obvious and very easy. You create a login on the site, and just go back and load from your bank account, or even start a direct deposit to the card itself. Easy peasy, and no hassle usage. Perfect gift, or even for using on a regular basis for those who don’t have a bank account (like we didn’t, for so long). Things like this make it easy for parents to add money for college or high school kids as well, and still keep a limit and eye on what is being spent.

Go check it out, pick a card, and tell them I sent you! Visit them on Facebook and say hello; be sure and tag For the Display of His Splendor when you do!
